Prescribing Pharmacist / Nurse Associate
We are looking for a qualified prescribing pharmacist or nurse independent prescriber to join our team in a remote capacity, supporting our clinical pathway with flexibility and autonomy.
Role Responsibilities
- Conducting pre-assessments with patients prior to treatment.
- Supporting the clinical pathway and issuing prescriptions following medical reviews and treatment recommendations made by our doctors.
- Prescribing controlled medicines and ADHD medication where clinically appropriate, following the relevant medical assessment and treatment plan.
- Reviewing prescriptions and ensuring they are issued safely, appropriately and in accordance with clinical protocols and UK prescribing requirements.
- Following up with patients after prescribing and providing ongoing clinical oversight as required.
- Providing availability for our booking system and supporting the clinical pathway as required.
Applicants must hold the appropriate UK prescribing qualifications and professional registration, with the relevant authority and competence to prescribe the medications required for the role.
